Children’s learning is assessed as part of our ongoing curriculum cycle. These written assessments are made available to families throughout the year and provide an overview of children’s learning and progress.

Opportunities for parent interviews are provided throughout the year and as required. Information nights provide opportunities for educators to showcase children’s learning and share relevant knowledge about early childhood education and care. Parent orientation evenings are held throughout the year to support families with transitions within the centre.

Regular emails, centre displays and notices, parent surveys and our Instagram account are also platforms through which we share and collaborate with families. Instagram content will always ensure the privacy of children and families is maintained.

Throughout the year educators compile a Portfolio for each child and their family with art samples, photos and milestones of their year at Pinocchio. These gifts are a keepsake for families that we know are treasured for years to come.
